1. Program Overview

The DotArtisan Referral Program ("Program") allows registered users ("Referrers") to earn commissions by referring new customers ("Referred Customers") to our marketplace. When a Referred Customer makes their first qualifying purchase, the Referrer earns a commission equal to 30% of the sale amount (excluding taxes and payment processor fees).

2. Eligibility

2.1. Who Can Be a Referrer

• Must have an active DotArtisan account in good standing
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Cannot be an employee of DotArtisan or its affiliates
• Cannot participate in regions where such programs are restricted by law

2.2. Who Can Be a Referred Customer

• Must be a new customer with no previous purchase history on DotArtisan
• Cannot use the same payment method, IP address, or device as the Referrer
• Must not be an existing user creating a second account
• Must complete registration and purchase using the Referrer's unique link

3. How It Works

3.1. Getting Your Referral Link

1. Log into your DotArtisan account
2. Navigate to "Referral Program" in your dashboard
3. Copy your unique referral link or use provided sharing tools
4. Share via email, social media, blogs, or other approved channels

3.2. Tracking and Attribution

• Sales are tracked via cookies with a 90-day attribution window
• If multiple referrers claim the same customer, the first referrer receives credit
• Self-referrals (referring yourself via different accounts) are strictly prohibited
• Referrals must comply with all applicable marketing laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.)

4. Commission Structure

4.1. Commission Rate

• 30% commission on the first sale made by each Referred Customer
• Commission calculated on the net sale price (after any buyer discounts)
• One-time commission only – subsequent purchases by the same customer do not qualify
• Maximum commission of $500 per referred customer

4.2. What Qualifies for Commission

• First purchase of any digital product (Regular or Extended License)
• Subscription sign-ups (if applicable)
• Service purchases (if applicable)

4.3. What Does NOT Qualify

• Purchases made with stolen or fraudulent payment methods
• Sales that are later refunded or charged back
• Sales to customers using VPNs to circumvent regional restrictions
• Sales where the Referred Customer uses a coupon code not provided by DotArtisan

5. Payout Terms

5.1. Minimum Payout Threshold

• Minimum balance of $50 required for payout
• Commissions below $25 will roll over to following months
• Unclaimed balances may be forfeited after 12 months of inactivity

5.2. Payout Schedule and Methods

• Payouts processed monthly around the 5th
• Available methods: PayPal, DotArtisan store credit, or bank transfer
• Payouts may be delayed for fraud review up to 60 days
• You are responsible for any taxes on earned commissions

5.3. Commission Forfeiture

Commissions may be forfeited if:

• The Referred Customer requests a refund (commission reversed)
• Fraud or abuse is detected in the referral
• The Referrer violates these Terms
• The Referrer's account is suspended or terminated

6. Prohibited Activities

Referrers MUST NOT:

• Spam: Send unsolicited bulk messages or post referral links indiscriminately
• Misrepresent: Claim to be DotArtisan employees or official representatives
• Incentivize Fraud: Offer cashback, discounts, or incentives to encourage fake purchases
• Use Paid Advertising: Bid on DotArtisan trademarks in search engines
• Create Fake Accounts: Refer yourself or create multiple accounts
• Violate Intellectual Property: Use DotArtisan trademarks without permission
• Use Malware: Force or trick users into clicking referral links

7. Compliance and Monitoring

7.1. Right to Audit

DotArtisan reserves the right to:

• Review all referral activities for compliance
• Request documentation of referral methods
• Suspend payouts during investigation of suspicious activity
• Reverse commissions from fraudulent referrals

7.2. Consequences of Violation

Violations may result in:

• Immediate termination from the Program
• Forfeiture of all unpaid commissions
• Suspension or termination of DotArtisan account
• Legal action for serious violations

8. Program Changes and Termination

8.1. Our Rights

DotArtisan may:

• Change commission rates with 30 days' notice
• Modify Program terms at any time
• Terminate the Program entirely with 60 days' notice
• Disqualify any participant for any reason

8.2. Your Rights

You may:

• Withdraw from the Program at any time
• Request payout of earned commissions meeting minimum threshold
• Close your referral account (unpaid commissions under $25 forfeited)

9. Limitation of Liability

DotArtisan's liability under this Program is limited to the total commissions earned by the Referrer in the previous 6 months. We are not liable for:

• Technical issues affecting tracking or payouts
• Actions of Referred Customers
• Changes to Program terms
• Tax implications of earned commissions

10. General Terms

• These terms incorporate our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
• California law governs these terms
• Disputes must be resolved in Los Angeles County courts
• We may update these terms at any time; continued participation constitutes acceptance
